Just spent the last few nights in hospital with DS2 because of his asthma - which is fairly and squarely my DH's genes. Yesterday i was trying to teach my dyspraxic son his 9 times tables using the cheats finger holding down method. He just couldn't get his fingers to bend down well enough to separate his tens from his units. I was holding them down and pulling them around. My DS enjoyed it and found it very funny. I was telling DH in the evening that his curly fingers just couldn't move independently and he enlightened me that neither could his! We then spent ages practising which fingers he could move. he can't do the star trek greeting, spiderman's web making move etc. all very important things to be able to do
. But realistically - it's another DH trait inherited.
So many threads i read have inference to DHs now being diagnosed too etc. Just wondered if any of you have the 'blame game' at home too?
BTW - i do not get off scott free - dietary stuff is mine!
