Hi everyone

I'm looking for advice about my sister with sn. She is 21 but is mentaly 12 and verry vulnerable. She has no social life and no friends. This is dificult because she is not an extream case but she is not normal.

The present groups she goes to she is the most able.
Are there any groups out there were ppl with this level of sn can meet?

I think it would be really good for because she would be able to mature and develope more with friends.

Any coments and sugestions welcome

thanks

I don't know where you live, but Autism London runs groups. If not suitable, maybe they would know of others? I have also heard of Danda. Have you tried local NAS branch if there is one?

Our local autism group also runs 'youth groups' which are for people 11 - 25.

Although not sure if your sister has Autism or something else....

Thank you! I looked up danda and they seem like just the thing. all comments are really helpfull. I will look in to all of the above. We are in London so idealy looking for groups there.

There is no name for what she has but it is like slight autism.

Does anyone else have children or a relative with this level of sn?
