Technically a service dog is not a pet so does anyone know where you legally stand if a landlord states "no pets" ?

is that like a seeing/hearing dog?

I would have thought that would be like a seeing dog then and allowed(could be wrong though)

Think they would be on very sticky wicket to refuse if dog is registered assistance dog, (might be worth talking to RNIB as they will have dealt with this for guide dogs....)

Are there service dogs in the UK (curious emoticon)

yes there are, we were considering trainingour puppy for DD1 but only allowed to have one Autistic child in the home :(

I know I don't get that. I suppose it would be because what if the children were out seperately who would the dog go with? They say it's because of the bond but I think a dog could easily form a strong bond with more than 1 child in a family. Or they could even provide a dog each if funds allowed it?
