My 9 month old has some brain damage as a result of meningitus & being prem.
He has some ASD signs like poor eye contact, not responding to name, doesn't like cuddles, not babbling properly but he also often breathes really rapidly and get over-excited, moving his arms and legs with a manic look in his face. Has anyone seen anything similar in their children when they were younger? I don't know if it is a random thing related to the brain damage? a symptom of ASD or something else?
