gutted for my son

My son is in special school, however he is a prolific school refuser. There is 7 kids in the class and I have just found out one of them was having a birthday party today, it's all splashed all over facebook what a great horse riding party it was, yet my son didn't get an invite.
Rant over!!

poor ds! . ds hasn't had an invite yet from his m/s school but i had imagined ss would be more inclusive

I remember your posts about your son and school. How are things now?

Thanks sibling, things are just the same.....off school. School are now saying if he doesn't go on a Tuesday and Thursday they will attempt to come and get him. Then in January the behaviour are going to do their stint into forcing him back in. I personally think force is the wrong way to do this, however he is becoming a recluse.

Really hate that sort of thing. It's like my kids' Nana. She'll have DS1 to stay, but not DS2 and he feels it, he really does.

How awful. Even though my DS wouldn't understand I certainly would and it hurts. Its the same when people get a birthday/Xmas gift for DD but not him, arseholes. You would think parents at a special school would have more sensitivity but not that I've found, you still have to dig out the good ones and dump the others.

Davros and chocolatespread - that is truly shocking. On the plus side at least Davros gets to ignore the ignorant - but your own family!
