Hi My son is 9, we've been told by the Paed he has dyspraxic,ADHD and ASD(Aspergers)behaviours. She didn't want to diagnose him in June, she wanted to see which of the behaviours would come to the forefront, she believes it will be the ASD behaviour,we agree. Will see her in January next year. Until then and after, I don't know what support I should expect from the school now or when/if he's diagnosed.I was wondering if anyone else has recently been through or is currently in a situation like this ? I don't have a clue what I help I should expect for him, he finds school extremely hard.

Post on the main SN board. It gets more traffic.

It's not clear from your post what parts of school he finds hard, or what the school are currently doing.

You need to talk to the SENCO and find out what support they will give him. There should be an ASD support team they can contact to get support from.
