has anyone ever seen this DVD, if so is it one dd would like?

We borrowed this from our local SN library. DS liked it - it has the singing hands ladies that appear in some of the Something Special DVD's.

It had alot of songs that we hadnt heard of, but it had DS's 2 favourite songs on it (If your happy and you know it and wind the bobbin up) so he was happy with it, and its quite short so he didnt get bored.

so no children in it?

There are children in it, but its led by the ladies from signing hands, almost like a class I suppose.

It is dd1s absolute favourite thing.

Lots of shot of children - the ladies run a toddler sign class, and the dvd has shots of that, and then in outings eg at a play farm etc.

The ladies are lovely (we took dd1 to one of their classes last year as a treat - she was so excited!)
I could run you off a copy if you want, 2shoes? Am away from home at the moment, but could do it this weekend?

dd is at that age where finding xmas preents is hard, so at least that is 1 down 20 more to go lol

My DS (ASD, nearly 4) has loved it for a year now. And I mean, really, really, really loved it. With a passion!

In fact I'm pathetically excited at the mo, because I've just been onto their website and ordered their 2 new dvds (including a xmas one). Woweeee!

on their website (google singing hands), you can see a couple of youtube clips of the new DVDs - you could take a quick look at those (although not much use to you since you've already ordered!)

imo, it's one ofthe least annoying nursery rhyme/singing dvds that dd has - I've heard it at least 4 times a day for the last 2 years, and I still don't want to throw it out of the window

seriously, it really quite tuneful.

a nice selection of tunes, some unusual ones I hadn't come across before etc.

they also say on their website they are doing another episode with Mr Tumble - hurray!

well so far I have ordered that and 2 wiggles dvd's
she also likes this set of DVD's
no signing but would recommend if yours is into kids singing and a silly man.
(I did also order a blink 182 t shirt for her)
