Help! I need to get a job but I'm full-time carer and SKINT!

I gave up my job in May to care for my 3 year old with ASD. I'm claiming all benefits I'm allowed but still not enough. I need to work one day a week to make ends meet but can't find any real jobs! I sell stuff on Ebay to keep me afloat but not into party planning, businesses at home etc. I can do waitressing, shop work, childcare, I can drive, cleaning, dog walking blah blah... someone somewhere must need me Sad
Any ideas?... or anything... please?

not the same as a job, but I found doing market research surveys (for vouchers/money) and mystery shopping helped bring a bit of extra cash in. as well as ebaying, www.cex.co.uk are good for selling video games/dvds etc (you can check out on their website how much they will give you beforehand).

market research companies - pinecone, lightspeed panel, gfk

mystery shopping companies - gfk, optimum contact, retaileyes, gapbuster.

Thanks for that, it's really helpful. I'll check out those websites.

I don't know if it's just me, but I always found jobs in the local rag... but haven't needed to look for a job in 7 years. Now, there's nothing! The jobs section is half a page where as it used to be about 8 pages of good jobs before. I find job websites completely useless with no REAL jobs so I have no idea where local businesses advertise these days... hmmmm.
