im not sure how much ive said on here or what people remember but weve got a statement for my ds and he is attending the school agreed by la, but due to his behaviours linked to his autism etc i believe he needs one to one even though he is at special school, initially they only put in phrases like "adult support when appropriate". anyway were off to tribunal in january and they are negotiating and trying to resolve now and have said they will add "misstired's ds needs to be the focus of attention of a key worker/familiar adult, who can manage behaviour and supervise interaction with others. In particular, focused supervision is required at unstructured times." and similar such phrases thoughout the statement, they have sent me the propsed amended statement to look at before next meetin, what i want to know is what this really means, and what this kind of implies the minimum they could provide is!? is it still wooly do you think?!?! is this their way of saying one to one, or is it a way of trying to convince me its like one to one when it really isnt!?!? im so unsure!! please please help!!
