Ds (7) has come out of school everyday this week with his glasses off and he needs to wear them all the time.

Also his boots are so loose that his insoles have slipped down to his toes! Always saying his feet are hurting and I'm really not suprised. He said the teachers are to busy to help!

And so thirsty every night that he can't have been drinking at school, although he does need to be told to drink and eat.

Also just found out that he is spending most of his time out of the classroom, haven't got to the bottom of why just yet.

Looks like a letter to school is looming and I thought this year was starting well!

Should be receiving proposed statement in two weeks so resolving some of these issues might be easier but in the meantime ds can't see properly, has painful feet and legs and is starving/dehydrating himself!

Have you been in and spoken to his class teacher?

So many times and senco. They seem to remember for a few days and then all is forgotten again. Letters seem to work better!

When the TA is there things are much better but she only works mornings and occassionally in the afternoon.

Ds is a different child when she has been there all day.

Just don't know what to do without upsetting them as I really need a good relationship with them.

Ah maybe I could send ds with a chart and stickers for keeping glasses on, asking for shoes to be checked and food/drink.

Might even add pack school bag and don't come outside with one thing at a time! Can take him 5 or 6 times to get everything together!

Could suggest adding targets to non existent IEP Grin
