sand timers

Just wondered if anyone had bought a set of sand timers, (you know 1 min, 3 min, 5 min, 10 min etc etc)

I have seen them in the catalogues around at ds's pre-school, but individuals not allowed to buy from there, have googled but am plowing thru loads of fancy decorative ones, and I just want a plain, (hopefully not too expensive Wink) set.

Thanks

We got one from here. They do various times. Not cheap but plain and hard-wearing, quite large too which we find helpful. I got the 10 min one as DS is old enough to do 'two turns' of it etc. if we need longer.

Brightminds do lots of sand timers (about £10 each) but this one looked intriguing - electronic sand timer that can be set to up to 99mins.
