Anyone else been?

Are they any useful tips and hints you can give me before we go?

Our itinerary is:-

Disney Parks
Busch Gardens
Seaworld
Discovery Cove - swim with dolphins
Universal Studios Islands of Adventure

...and then some lovely beach days on Sanibel Island.

Looking forward to trip, but know that preparation is key! So I will very much value your advice. Thanks!

No advice I'm afraid, but I hope you all have a good time :)

Have been to FL, what sort of advice do you need?. General travel advice?.

A tip re Discovery Cove - you must book this well in advance of your visit if you have not already done so. All adults too require photo ID to enter.

Another tip - do inform credit card company beforehand of your travel plans, this is because your credit card could have a "stop" marker otherwise placed on it if used abroad.

Hi I have been with my DS too, I can give you a link to a site which has a special needs section for Florida which I found invaluable. I will try to post it on here but if its not allowed then if you message me I will let you know.

DISboards.com is an excellent source of info aswell and has a DISabilities section. There is also a friendly uk section and some regulars on there inc myself have children with various disabilities.

Have a great trip - we've just got back from our holiday.
