Read your post after your appt with DS3.
It sounds just like ours - the shape thing, pointing to doll etc.
Only our consultant must be more proactive as she's referred us to a SALT and Portage. Although from what I read it might be months before we're contacted.
Might it be worth trying to get a second opinion?
Her biggest concern with DS was the difference in some of his development areas - some areas really ahead (the shape sorter bit), and some way behind (no speaking, no 'shared communication' - eg pointing out things of interest). She said if everything had been behind she'd put it down to development delays, but it was this big gap that was the concern.
TBH I was amazed how much she was able to glean in such a short time.
Won't go on incase you're not around anymore, but just incase you are. Would be good to hear how you're getting on.
