because you dont want to tempt fate and say "oh look something really great has happened and is happening" because you feel if you do next week will be a big black cloud and you will feel like crap because you were so high about it and then something else crops up

thats what i fell like today with dd

I am not sure this makes sense!

oh yes. That's why I don't take much notice if ds1 says anything clear. Because it never develops.

me and ds were talking about his friends and i said who is your best friend and he said bradley and i said who is yours dd and she said erin, completely in context of the conversation and she has been doing it alot lately. Answer the proper words to proper questions, but I dont know whether it is just taught and not 'learnt' iykwim

but i thinks he is understanding loads moire but cant even get half excited

Revel in enjoyment Fio. Grab ever bit of pleasure you can and be proud of dd's achievements. If the big, bad, black cloud turns up next week then deal with it then.

Hugs,

Know exactly what you mean Fio. Dd has to have done something a fair few times before I really allow myself to believe she is doing it and feel happy.

Same with seizures. If she goes a few days without seizures I kind of ignore it and never ever tell anyone. Just incase it jinxes them back again.

silly isn't it .

But I also think that if you have a feeling that she is understanding more, then she probably is. Fab little miss Fio .

ds cut her hair with scissors out my handbag when i was cooking dinner. he has given her a fringe. i was with them aswell and I never even noticed, he did it that quick. He has cut off all here long cirls, omg omg

Oh, sorry Fio2. If it makes you feel better there is def a haircutting thing in the air at the moment. Two of my friends dd's have had 'unofficial' haircuts thanks to their siblings in the last couple of days... Ho hum. Onwards and upwards.

just emailed fio- but don't feel guilty. Ds1 threw a toy at ds3 whilst I was out of the room getting pyjamas (well not at him- it just hit him). I felt guilty because i should have put ds3 in his playpen these things happen so quickly.

Fio2 i definately find its a matter of good days v bad days. I appreciate the good days as i never know how long they are going to last. I can pretend my life is almost normal and that feels great. Enjoy it

Dingle · 14/09/2005 20:18
