SALT..finally have an appointment, and we can't go!

Been on the waiting list forever it feels like!

A letter arrived today with appointment for ds on Monday morning- the day e starts his new nursery. Bit short notice isn't it?

I know I can cancel and ask for another appointment, but we've waited sooo long for tis, and now they've sent a letter giving us less than a weeks notice. Grrr

Am pleased sometign's happening though

I personally would let him miss nursery, and go to the SALT appointment.

Ok, thanks. It's his first day at the new nursery, so I spose not as unsettling as midweek.

Ok, I had already seen sense and realised that he can start nursery a day later. Nursery has been my top priority for weeks, every decision revolves around making sure he will settle well into that, so I wasn't thinking straight about the appointment.

Have just seen the thread about the girl who missed the appointment and we will definitely be going to the SALT appointment on Monday!
