so ...finally I have today posted my letter for a statutory assessment for DD3 [hshock]( diagnosed with aspergers)
was a bit later sending it off than planned due to all 8 of us having horrible week with a tunmmy bug LOL but at least it's done now!
It did also take me many phonecalls to clarify which LEA to send it to (dd attends school in different lea to where we live!) but finally spoke to very helpful sounding lady who clarify where to send it...
Soooo now I'm firstly stressing over whethter I've done the right thing, then also planning what to do when they turn down my request...
Have letter ready to send to school after half term to tell them I've applied...sure that will go down like a tonne of bricks!
And have also had to go to Parent review day today, where you meet the teacher with your child, which always REALLY stresses dd out(even though no difficult issues are discussed and it is all framed very positively) so she is in total meltdown mode tonight...same happened last year, and actually think next year I may refuse to take her...she just can't handle it...
anyway...sigh...deep breath...
just needed to off-load...[hgrin]
