met a lady at speech group today whose LO has very little language, tip toe walks, hand flaps, has clear echolalia and other bits. Mum thinks he has ASD and tbh i would agree but she has only just had referal to CDC which takes ages. I said I will email some bits and pieces but cant decide which ones are best. What do you ladies think?

The National Autistic Society sent me a whole folder, with some great stuff in it 'understanding the communication of ASD child' mentions echolalia etc. Stages of speech development etc, etc.

You could tell her to come here. I have learned more on here than most other places. Just tell her not to venture off the sn board.[hsmile]

I would tell her about Aba - definitely.
