Were building her visual wall in the hall as a project, timetables, self care reminders and a memory board. :) Shes very excited!

wow a visual wall sounds great. ds would love it but i'm too lazy busy Grin

I'll be working most of half term but we have a day trip planned to a theme park with friends and a very small halloween party. thinking about taking kids trick or treating as very popular round my way but it might be a bit ambitious.

hopefully go out some places and not kill dd4 by accident, or dislocate anything. dislocation applies to dd1 as well as dd4. groups of kids with food items scare me. i am inventing a bubblewrap suit.

2shoeprintsintheblood · 18/10/2010 11:23

well monday, flu jab
tuesday wna wednesday youth scheme.
Friday respite

TheCrunchyside · 18/10/2010 11:29

flu jab! you sure know how to show your kids a good time Wink

Actually that reminds me - ds does really need to go to the dentist (that will be fun Hmm Grin

misdee · 18/10/2010 11:31

ah shite, i forgot about flu jabs. dd4 cant have it (egg allergic) but everyone else has to be jabbed in my house. better find out when the sessions are and when dh is working.

sugarcandymonster · 18/10/2010 11:38

DS is already home for half term as he has two weeks off his residential school. He's slept quite a lot so far, they must be tiring him out Grin.

I'll have to chase up an optician and hearing appointment but otherwise it'll be hanging out with his family and a few days out in town.

ouryve · 18/10/2010 11:49

I'm stockpiling chocolate and wine.

Other than that, no idea. I'll probably do the usual baking lots thing with DS1 but I can't really venture far on my own with the two boys. I'm hoping DS1 simply enjoys the week off school (hahahaha) and DS2 doesn't get too bored and destroy the place. Also hoping they don't fight too much. It's going to be so much harder than it was in the summer to have one in the yard and one in the lounge so I can make dinner without them thumping each other.

We have no plans monday and tuesday apart from making a massive tea cake which dd saw on the telly (probably be revolting but it must be done)
ds is going to science museum with his social skills group on wednesday
Then we are going 'dahn saaff' visiting my parents in-laws for a few days

childrenofthecornsilk · 18/10/2010 11:57

childrenofthecornsilk · 18/10/2010 11:58

...and the Dr Who show - bleeding advertised on ITV they did HmmSkintymcskint now.

woolytree · 18/10/2010 12:05

Grin at massive tea cake!

...DD saw Mickey Mouse at Disney Land on TV...now wants to 'hug Mickey'...EEEK! Way to pricey!

Would love to get away but am also skintymcskint! :) Will spend most evenings job hunting for DH...who is having a midlife crisis so quit work...our only income! Angry

...oh well the museums free if I have the energy! :)

DS birthday on Monday so lots of pizza garlic bread and ice cream that day! Visit grandparents Wed/Thurs.

xx

signandsay · 18/10/2010 14:45

Hoping for a session at the under 5 SN trampolining group one day, gotta stay with him, but by the end of the summer hols he was signing 'magic doors, bounce bounce, music' to ask to go, so hope he should enjoy again. Also the spec needs group he goes to still continues in the hols (yippee). Nanny coming to stay for a few days, so hope that goes ok.....

3 days at playscheme, 2 family days out at museum, gallery, or using cheapo national trust membership I got through work. Actually got a few memberships to different things going on. I got them dh for Christmas ;)

cansu · 18/10/2010 19:45

Heaven is four days at playyscheme for ds1, one overnight respite plus two half days playscheme for dd2. Will probably spend it filling in dla renewal form though...

TooOrangeyForCrows · 18/10/2010 20:26

Off to the grandparents, so no MN for me Sad. DH probably glad of a break from the occasional shouts of laughter and sharp indrawn breaths......

devientenigma · 18/10/2010 23:21
