Hello everyone, thought I'd better introduce myself. I've been coming on here for months but have been too shy to speak so thought it was high time I said hello (seeing as you've all been inadvertently giving me advice for quite a while now - thank you!)

My DD has DS and congenital cataracts. She's a beautiful, bossy, cheeky and hilariously funny 1 year old with blonde curls and big blue eyes. I cannot imagine a second of my life without her, and have NO IDEA what I ever did before her (what on earth did I used to do with all that time?! lol).

Anyway, that's all for now (currently sat in bed feeling sorry for myself having caught the virus my poor DD has been suffering from all week - yuk)

Think I'll stick around though, you all seem nice :)

Hi and welcome. The more the merrier here. We all seem to rub along quite happily and if not chocolate or wine normally does the trick.Grin

Hi Taysh, welcome to the board. I'm fairly new myself and have found this board to be an oasis of knowledge and support. We only recently got dx and I seem to only ever post questions, but I hope to one day also have the answers so I can share! Hope you get well soon :)

Hi to you and welcome. I'm also new, but do a fair bit of lurking and reading. Hope you are feeling better soon.
