How old is DD? Can you politely ask how much she knows about ASD

There are other DCs in school with ASD but I am taking in a 'guide to teaching children with ASD'...highlighted relevent parts to DD.

DD is almost 5.

I have seen a Special School for ASD children, which has also got some residential units. It is my belief that most ASD children will do better in a special school than in mainstream.

Good luck tomorrow.

I saw you posted a similar comment on another thread....is it meant to be offensive?...to provoke? Hmm...I hope not.

It takes time to decide if DD can/cannot be supported to learn in MS School, MS school has SN provision, DD is so far achieveing well but needs support in order to reduce her anxiety and improve her communication. If we had received a dx earlier we may have considered an ASD school but in order to gain admission we would need a SA/SEN. As DD is doing well in her education it is unlikely we would get SA at this point. Hence we will asses, review and support DD in MS school until such a decision can be made with evidence of her progress/additional needs.
