book week and dd won't do it

she is supposed to take her fave book in to show the class, she won't , I think she thinks, it is her fave book and she doesn't want to loose it.....
do you think the teacher will mind?

do you have this problem?

would she erm fib and take in any old book that she's not too bothered about losing??

nah, she has a bit of a thing about not atking her things in.
I was going to suggest to the teacher that she picks a fave book fron the classroom(I suggested this to dd and she looked at her home school diary, I think she wants to use that lol)

sort of similar..
ds hates libraries
he was all excited the first time we ever went, picked about 6 books and totally loved it....then we told him the books have to be given back and now he's not interested, take him in anyway but he wont even look at the books!

even toys and books that he doesnt particularly like if we ask if we can give them away he says no!
he's not a sharer...if its his, its his!!
