Parent partnership have advised me to ring them about the proposed statement we've got. I've been ringing since 7.00 but it's just ringing out til it cuts off. Does that mean they're busy or there's no-one there. Anyone know if it's worth keeping going or should I just try again tomorrow?

I'm afraid I never had any luck with them. I tried each day for a week after our proposed statement, then again after the amended one. They usually have on their answer machine when their opening hours that week are, but when you try during those hours it's always engaged.

I had more luck with sossen, although they are often engaged too, but I got there in the end.

Good luck, hope you get to speak to someone.

Thanks,

Will keep trying because answering machine is not on so I guess that means someone's there. Will also try SOSSEN tomorrow.

It is worth perservering albeit frustrating. I now communicate with sossen over email, once they have all your details they don't seem to mind this, and it's also not nearly as frustrating as getting a constant engaged tone.

I'm getting bored of this now but I'll keep at it.

I wish you could email IPSEA.

It is worth persevering. Once you get through they are very knowledgable. I eventually was allocated someone to help me with my tribunal acse and she was great. I was able to email stuff over to her to look at and she was really helpful.

I hope no-one's trying to ring me. I've been listening to it ringing out for 45 mins now.

Perhaps I should start eating my lasagne. They'll answer as soon as I've got my mouth full!
