DS2's new phrase. Repeated over and over again when the toy adverts are on. Yesterday though he did say "I want that" after an Always Ultra advert Hmm

You can tell Christmas is coming up with all these blardy adverts!

I might start decorating tampons with glitter Grin. Would make an interesting conversation piece.

DD got hold of the ToysRus catalogue :(...'I want..I want..'. Its her birthday soon...and DH let slip so Ive got this every day until she sees party hats!

Id love to see your creatively decorated tree Star! :)

Oh we have that as well, from the Saturday paper?

I've had to hide the aros catalogue because of the wants. Considering last year he didn't understand the concept of it al, this year is going to be interesting.

..No it was the full store catalogue. :(...forgot to tick no on the mailing list bit.

DD didnt understand last year either...was very scared of Santa so we agreed he wasnt coming. :)

Oh we're scrutinising the ToysRUs catalogue (Saturday paper). Also Tesco Direct and, of couse, Argos.

Forensically examined day after day after day after day after day.....

5inthebed · 28/09/2010 20:41

I've hidden the Tesco one as well......

DS3 likes to thumb them as well, earning off his older brothers.

....some bugger nice lad just posted the Smyths Toy Shop catalogue earlier today! DD was having a screaming fit at DH trying to finish their game...so I gave it to her! Blush....would hide it but shes already decided on the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...so Ill hide the ToysRUs one! :)

DD1 has never done that Sad

We got the shock of our lives when DD2 was up one night and saw a dolly on telly. She said "That nice dolly. I'd like that. Maybe I go and buy it." (she is 3.1).

Because DD1 never has done this sort of thing, it was completely unexpected!

Not just us hiding all the catalogues then! I'm a bit gutted tbh, I used to like a flip through the Argos and Tesco books. But then, I used to like watching tv, having a bag of crisps, popping out for a pint of milk... Now I mostly like a quiet life without unnecessary self- inflicted aggro!

Ah, I remember that carefree lifestyle too.
