We are going to hospital on tuesday for test results and possible diagnosis for dd who is 8 months.

She was in hospital for 2 weeks having lots of tests as they think she has some kind of blood vessel disorder, they said all the tests should be back by Tuesday.

We are hoping for a diagnosis so we know what we are dealing with but i am scared they are not going to know (as they have said they think it is something very rare or a new condition.

If something had come up on the tests would they have been in touch or is it standard procedure to not get in touch till your appt?

Sorry... standard practice to leave giving news to the appointment. Also fairly standard for important results to be lost or delayed so don't hold your breath.

That said, if there was something urgent or needing rapid action you'd have had a call already.

So could the tests still have shown something up then? I really hope so as if they are negative they have more tests in the pipeline which involve general anasthetics :(

been following your threads for a while. If it was life threatening they would have called, but otherwise they wait :(
Hope it goes well and you finally get your answers.

I hope so to, just want to know so I know what i am dealing with. She has been on her medication for couple of weeks now and i have noticed she used to only have 2 wet nappies a day, and now ahe has 5 or 6 which is more normal, so i am wondering if the blood vessels round her kidneys have been compromised before she was on her medication
