ideas fpr harvest festival please

Okay, well I've just started teaching in my new school and it seems as I teach RE I've got to be involved in collective worship and celebrating various religious festivals. I'm not even religious!

So help needed please for what we can do as a school for harvest festival. The kids are from primary to seconday and there are just over a hundred.

Any ideas? I'd like it to avoid some sort of citizenship angle.

Hercules, Is it a special school? DK do some good books about My First Channukah etc if you need visual stuff. Otherwise, no idea as I'm not religious either!

We always do a fairly trad harvest fest.At a local church, we make a wheat sheaf(help by a local baker) lower school have some sort of play/story about food.upper(secondary) school sing /sign harvest songs.
