Update on DS's NHS OT apointment

The OT wanted to compare his results with the last ones and to assess DS. Well we managed to get 1/2 way through the assessment. DS had had enough and was giddy and not paying attention. So the OT has asked us to come in again to finish the assessment off another day. She confirmed that she will be working with DS as she had already seen that his development was immature. However she has no training or experience on the sensory issues but will recommend where she can what DS needs to the school. However she asked if I had considered a special school given his ASD,ADD and dyspraxia diagnosis as they would understand sensory issues? Anyway early days but so far think this OT is maybe OK. I forgot to mention DS's knock knees and hypermobility though must remember for next time.

Glad it went okay and that she seems reasonable - thats always half the battle :)
