so, were in the tribunal process, i have submitted our case, then buy the 24th - this friday the la have to submit their response and also a list of their witnesses and who is coming to the tribunal on their side (tribunal is 10th january [wink]). the last date for evidence to be sent to the tribunal from either side is the 1st december. so.... as ds has only just started the sn school the la want him at (and i agree it a nice school) but havent officially named on the statement [confused] (one of the many things were appealing for!!) they are in the view that until he is settled we "wont know what he needs and how he will cope", my arguement is thats a discussion for annual review, statement should be done on what we know his needs are now not what they might be if he settles well!! so the la have sent a form to tribunal today asking for extra time to submit evidence - they want until mid november!!!!! well they automatically have until 1st december anyway so they didnt need to ask for this [confused] so it seems that they may have ticked wrong boxes and meant the form to be asking for more time to submit their response [wink], but they havent done that so unless their response is recieved by friday 5pm they may be banned from taking part in the tribunal hearing [grin] so i am hoping that they have made this stupid mistake and that its not just that the paperwork will arrive at end of week or over weekend but parent partnership think this is a distinct possibility and they may just be muddled and have done the wrong bit of the form [grin] and have told me definately not to ring la and hope that they are right so now im sitting tight [biscuit] hoping they did do it wrong and dont submit anything else but wont know for a week until i can ring tribunal monday if nothing has arrived to check if they hae anything and whats happening now if they havent!!!! anyway just had to tell someone so this probably makes no sense but hey ive bored you all with it now feel free to ignore me!
