I have never heard someone come up with so many problems on how to overcome basic issues for ds... When the answers are very very simple.
He started the meeting with a completely different agenda that why we were there.. Announcing this to the team in the room.. Wanted to invite ds into the meeting and kept saying he didn't see any issues..but was talking about issues and not recognising them.
( I did point out that he was doing this )
Dh and I were quite shocked.
However.. I am quite experienced these days.. So I corrected everyone as to why we where there.. Handed out an agenda for the meeting.. Bt who attended was a fantastic help :) and clarified what dh and I were saying. And I believe I gently put SENco in his place.
Oh and we got all the provisions put in place that we wanted , with a review for a couple of weeks time.
Ds is going to be okay!
