Just received the letter this morning. Ds will get the same rate as before, middle rate care and lower rate mobility, and it's dated up till he's 16 in 5 years time.

Good result and one less thing to worry about Grin.

Excellent Smile I am still waiting

It only took about four weeks too, so quite a fast turnaruond.

They probably took one look at the mountain of paperwork I send and gave up Grin.

Hmm, mine was received on 17th August, so 1 month ago. The paperwork was huge, over 1 inch Blush. I made a strong case for High Rate Mobility, with references, so I suspect that is holding it up - they are probably working out a) whether she qualifies and b) whether they can find some reason to turn us down despite her qualifying Hmm

Or, they could be waiting to ask the special school, but she has only just started there.+

Good point about school report, Lougle. Ds is HE'd so no delay in waiting for term to start, which could be a factor.

Good luck to others waiting for news, and wine and chocolate for those still filling in the damned forms Smile.

Three days IS ambitious NS - mine took four months in total Shock
