I know its early Blush

What kind of presents do you buy your childrens keyworkers (if you do)?

I dont normally buy presents for DS1's teachers, but DS2 key worker and support teacher have been so fantastic with him this year that I want the chance to say thankyou if that makes sense.

(didnt put this on the main board as I dont want to start a massive discussion about how its their job etc, and though I might get a bit more understanding here)

DS doesn't have a keyworker, but if he had a keyworker I really liked I would buy vouchers - either HMV/Waterstones or supermarket ones.

As an LSA the following have been teh nicest pthings I have had:

  1. A picture of your little one in a cheap/hand made frame.
  2. A nice picture painted/made by your little 1.
  3. A nice message in a card with a finger print from the little one.
  4. My personal fave a bottle of wine and a card that they have made, written in in some way or with a picture of them in

That's a lovely idea starlight!

Last year we gave really nice blank-page notebooks; other years we have given wine, little picture frames,or smellies.

I have always given a bottle of wine, I found out from colleagues what their favourite type was and sent it with a card made by dc, but written by me explaining exactly all the things I am thrilled they have done over the year, all the times they have gone further than their job requires. I think it is really important to recognise their efforts because often in school they are not recognised by management....partly because they make it look easy/just get on with it.
