OK, TAC meeting for DD2 tomorrow. We have SN HV, 2 preschool leaders, MAPPS co-ordinator, me and SALT.
Reason for 2 preschools is, the first preschool told us we would get mornings and then gave us afternoons and only 2. They have been given funding for 5 housr 1-1 work and were just using the staff already there. and then on my visit last week told me they were moving sites in OCT further away which would mean walking DD1 40mins afterschool to DD2 preschool and back home.
So she starts new preschool friday who seem great. I havent old 1st preschool yet as MAPPS lady needed to observe her so advised me not to

I just dont know if im strong enough to do this tomorrow without losing it.

youre not needy hun xx can the mapps lady bring it up and even say you were unsure of telling them?? what time is the meeting, will be thinking of you xx

I have a little meet with MAPPS lady before TAC so will say that too her. Everyone is lovely apart from 1st preschool head, but think is the SENCO coming, who is nice.
Its at 2pm, silly people said its finishes at 3.30pm, shame I have to colelct DD1 at 3.15pm
wish someone was coming with me :(

Hope it goes ok, sounds like you will be well rid of the old preschool, they weren't exactly bending over backwards.

It will be okay, as said before ask for the minutes to go over before you agree.. As there will be so much information to consider. :)

your meant to sign it everytime changes are made to it.

no its fine SLM, Im questioning weather to wear my jeans or my smart trousers and friened says "they arent judging you are they" LOL had to laugh I know what a group of proffessionals together are like especially after the family leave

smart trousers for confidence. they outnumber you but you outdress them

well it went ok, pre school (now old one) was a little offish and refused to allow staff to attend to feedback hows shes been in last week, new preschool seem lovely. MAPPS lady is lead proffessional and SALT was lovely as always
Also outreach worker who asked if i would come to this group and that and one about play hmmm yes because as a trained childcarer and working in SS and school for last 11 years I have no idea
There was an area SENCO there who I wasnt keen on, seemed very much like given the chance she would bully a parent.

All actions agreed are fine by me and nothing much I really wanted for her other than a well supported preschool place, which we have and some SALT which we have too.

Have apppointment in Nov for full dx process but tbh everyone kept saying "when she gets dx" rather than "if", think its just a formallaty.

Now I need a sniff drink!
