Can't explain it, just feel physically ill with exhaustion, I'm sure I won't be alone with this.

About to go to bed....

Yes, there are days where I am so tired that all my muscles ache. I think its like having a new born baby because you go to bed knowing that you are not going to get enough sleep.

Sleep tight Smile

Feel same. have just finished work for tomorrow and am wondering if I have strength / energy to face kitchen or sort out ds1's toys which are currently strewn across lounge. You are not alone Fanjo - I just want to go and read rest of Harry Potter though - v sad I know!

Cansu

Asked my ds1 (8&NT) to tidy up lego he had out. Was impressed he did it without complaint, but just spotted it rammed down the side of the sofa. Maybe you should try this with the toys in lounge and hide mess in kitchen under tea towels Grin

Yesterday my ds (ASD) got up at 3.30am. This is not unusual. It's a bugger on a Monday or Tuesday because I teach all day. I get through the day on caffeine and sugary junk. Then I have a staff meeting (frustrating at the best of times) and I'm sure my colleagues think I'm tapped because I come across as surly and uncooperative.

I'm also teaching the same age range as my ds which kinda highlights the stuff he cannot do. Makes me sad.

I get hugely over tired and can't sleep (just snivel) and then nod off at inappropriate moments. Nodded off in my classroom cupboard once...

Then there's the constant headache.....

all the time was awake at 4am finally got back to sleep a 5am but up at 5.45 have top leave in less than an hour to take DS 16 to school.I had major row with DH yesterday over him as well.Live on coffee and energy drinks.

TheArsenicCupCake · 14/09/2010 08:24

I have left dh to deal with this morning, the dc's and getting them to school.. I am in bed and although I have to get up .. I want to just have a duvet day... I plan for a flipping rest day.... And it never never seems to happen.
I'm frustrated too that it's dhs day off work.. And he has said he'd go into work this evening to cover a work colleague.. Oh and he be later home than normal..

A duvet day - i could fall asleep just thinking about it.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 14/09/2010 14:59

dd is napping. But have to get her up in 30 mins max or she won't sleep tonight. It's hard, she tries to go back to sleep for about an hour. But if I let her she would be up til 11...I must be strong!

I blame old age - I'm sure I would have coped much better as a 30-year-old mum

Kurly · 14/09/2010 16:01

DS up from 2am being sick. Still sick today house smells of sick I smell of sick he smells of sick. Looking forward to tonight.

DS very tired but never sleeps in day.

Surviving on chocolate and diet coke Grin

Spinkle, also work part-time with kids might try the cupboard next time. Also glad I am not the only one who feels like that about staff meetings

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 14/09/2010 16:03

DD likes to sleep lots in day, but not at night, trying to adjust things so it is the other way round!

I ended up going for a sleep on the settee this afternoon before going to collect DS.

TheArsenicCupCake · 14/09/2010 17:28

Well as predicted.. I didn't get my duvet day.. In fact I got up 5 mins after posting and have been run off my feet all blooming day.. Again!

I will try again tomorrow ( will have to try and go back to bed after the school run).. Oh and to stop it.. I am starting the september going to back cold..
