God...I feel so helpless Sad

I just really hope someone can break the communication barrier with him, as a year in pre-school he didn't talk or bond with ANY of the staff (just blanked them).

I went in earlier with a pack of nappies and wipes, and had to explain that ds will not alert them, nor will he anser if asked if he is dirty I just hope they check him as they have said they will do (feeling unsure after reading the thread concerning this).

I feel like I am throwing him in the lions den, and I can't even hold his hand. Sad

He does have ESAP funding in place and a statement imminent.

hey pucca, hope it goes well for ds Smile

dd3s school are crap with most things but do manage to change her regularly and when needed so there is hope! Have they got a care plan for him to cover this kind of thing?

Thanks bc Smile

I have no idea (I am crap aren't I?) I just went in earlier on and explained to them, I have also asked them to record down what bowel motions he has (For "poo" nurse) as I have to keep a diary, so will send in a little book, I will write in there to make sure.

good luck pucca ds

bigcar · 09/09/2010 20:17

no, not at all! I didn't know until it appeared in dd3s statement, just her statement was written before she started school. Doesn't hurt to ask the school to do one though Smile

Roundthebend4...Thanks for asking Smile sorry for the delay, only just seen your post.

Well day 3 done today he 'seems' ok, just looks a bit dazed by it all, and today has been a pretty bad day for him by all accounts. He has been violent with a number of children...I guess this is where the fun starts! He also will not communicate with the teachers
