Ear infections

Do any of your DCs with ASD get worse when they have ear infections?

DD isn't even diagnosed although she has pretty strong traits, but today, with confirmed ear infection, she has seemed like she has severe ASD.

I think I have heard this before but not sure.
(incidentally she had loads of ear infections before her enormous regression).

DS2 hasn't had an ear infection for a while, but when he has a col or is feeling poory he seems to become non verbal, stims a lot more and does lots more ASD noises.

He fell over earier and got a bloody nose and got hysterical, couldn't/wouldn't speak and was hard to communicate with.
