Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

Anyone know where I can get hold of a vibrating cushion that doesn't cost £30

OT has recommended we get one for DS1's sensory tent. I have had a look online and the only one I've found (that is not aimed at waking deaf people up the morning) is from special needs toys and seems expensive to me at £27.50 excluding vat.

Is there anywhere else that sells them cheaper or am I just going to have bite the bullet and shell out (as usual...)

Ds has a vibrating massager which retail around £5- I think Hawkins bazaar (still)sell them. Not what you are looking for, but may tide you over.

something like this may be or this kind of thing?

bigcar - thanks that's exactly what I'm looking for and a third of the price. I knew someone on here would have a good suggestion.

magso - will have a look at Hawkins bazaar - wwould never have thought about looking in there. Think there is one near-ish to us.
