Have just put ds 3 to bed and breaking my heart that tomorrow i wont be taking him to school like i have with my other dc .

Tomorrow im going to be putting him in a taxi and he be travelling for a hr before he even gets to school .
Be no chats with teachers at doorways no little boy with big grin coming out of class to meet me .Not be able find out if he ate his lunch or any of the 1001 things you do when collecting dc and walking to and from school with them

/He is my most vunverable yet im sending him so far from me

And daft thing is i know this unit is best place for him and that fought so hard to get him a place

But just wish it was not what i had to do Sad

Sorry to hear about the bad start but that is great news Smile

I'd have been on MN earlier but DD cut herself (entirely preventably) at school so have been dealing with that Hmm

When Ds started reception last year I went with him for the first week. It was very hard for me to let go. Like your ds my ds doesnt talk so you have to completely out him in the trust of the school that they will look after after him Luckily Ds loves school. He couldn't wait to go this morning so I know he loves it there but its still hard.

roundthebend4 · 06/09/2010 14:01

sadly going with ds was not a option his school is a hour or so away as was best option for him

and have to take dd7 to her school which is just up the lane

opps mistsand mellowmilad

Ds is fine at school though did inform me he had got so upset in the taxi and the windy lanes he vomited all over the escortBlush

He is not normally travel sick

Bet she sits bit further away from him on way home

He woke up then threw up as turned into our lane but missed her this time .

Mind yourself and don't worry too much.

5inthebed · 06/09/2010 22:22

Glad it went well. Bit of bad luck h was sick before he got home Sad

If you're at a loss what to do for the rest of the week you can always come clean my house Grin

DJAngel · 06/09/2010 22:40

Was thinking of you today, hope tomorrow feels a little easier and that he's not so sick tomorrow..
DD starts tomorrow but lucky that I can take her. Like Staryeyed I know I'm going to find it hard to let go.. PLanning on staying til they kick me out which won't be very long I suspect..
Take care of yourself and do nice things for yourself these first few days..
