Clothes....

Just DS and his little "things", not a big deal at all!

I just negotiated with him to go to M&S to buy some yellow shirts for him to wear at our wedding (some cos they come in a three pack, for only £3 - BARGAIN) and DP has picked a yellow shirt to wear.

He will go under his usual conditions

BUT, this time, his extra problem is that, "But Mummy, my clothes come from Next!"

(he has clothes from loads of stores in reality, but he has a lot of next clothes cos I go to the sales)

So, he will loook in M&S IF we look in next FIRST, cos that's where HIS clothes come from...

lol, dd1 always ask's for Next clothes (we do spend a lot of time in there). Take him in next to show him that there are no yellow shirts (fingers crossed they don't have any) and then take him to M&S Grin.

I still have a problem getting clothes for ds[16] if he could he would only wear black trousers and white shirts.
If he's with me he hates everything I pick up but if I go and buy said items and take them home he'll wear them.At home he will only wear boxers unless we have visitors, which isn't very often.

Shopping degenerated very quickly into meltdown, so ended up getting what I needed on line in the end.
seriously I am going to have to get better at this!

could you buy the m&s ones without him or online and replace label with a next one??

I did buy the M&S ones on line in the end. He's generally OK with wearing clothes from anywhere (as long as he genrally likes them) once they are actually in the house.

Online is a life saver. DS has developed a very expensive penchant for Camper Kids shoes - other shoe shops, complete meltdowns if you even try to measure his feet. Camper shop? He says "I want to buy some shoes mummy", sits down, tries them on, chooses his pair, DOES NOT HAVE A TANTRUM WHEN THEY DON'T HAVE HIS SIZE, chooses another pair, WAITS FOR ME TO PAY, in other words, acts completely normal.
So, 50 quid well spent I guess Hmm
