Just the most lovely thing - made my day

DD1's preschool 1:1 left last year, and I was so sad. DD1 had a really good bond with her. I was at my friend's house tonight, and she used to work with DD1's old 1:1. She had a phonecall and said to me afterward that her old 1:1 had asked how DD1 was, and said "Please make sure Lougle knows that I still think of her all the time, and DD1 is still my girl."

It meant so much to know that she still cared for DD1.

Oh that is beautiful! I'd have been quite tearful tbh. Did you tell DD1?

How lovely! It means so much, doesn't it, when our dc mean something to someone else too.

No, sadly she isn't at the moment. But it really did mean a lot.
