Am fed up of worring about my dd getting scolosis (sp?) of the spine while we wait for her seating to be sorted out. Has anyone used - or want to sell ;) the special tomato seat liners? Or similar products?

TIA

Scoliosis usually appears in teenage years, it's not caused by the seat you sit in...you are worrying about nothing! You could always look up some real facts about Scoliosis if you're that concerned.

My DD has CP and we have been told and indeed my own research indicates that is at risk of developing scoliosis if she is not supported correctly. She has grown out of her specially casted seating support and it will be some months before we can get another one. At the moment when she tries to sit her back is in a hunch tilted to one side position.

Scoliosis is very common in kids with CP!

havent tried the special tomato stuff, what age is your dd and what would you be putting the liner in?

maybe something like the Burnett body support might be better as you can mould it to shape?

Thanks glittery.

She is 2.5, I need something to put on normal chairs, her toddler chair etc. She can sit on a chair but needs extra support to sit well and to be able to actually do anything with her hands. I like the look of the Special Tomato thingy but they are sooo expensive :(
