Did first trip out with Major buggy + buggypod

Which went surprisingly well, we had a lot of comments but they were all about how cool the buggy was, rather than DS1 being too big for it! I think it actually "looks" better than him being squished in a double, people didn't seem to realise he was bigger :)

Word of warning, if you need to fold it down, bring a screwdriver as the buggypod clips get in the way! It is also wider than my double was, so shopping was not a brilliant experience! But waaaaaay better than it would have been had DS1 been walking :)

I used to get my 2 around this way Smile thats when i had 2, i now have 5 soon to be 6 ! and can't get a buggy board on the back of daughters grown up wheelchair. Although know i wouldn't be allowed anyway for safety reasons. Wish someone would invent a way of me being able to get my disabled teenager out as well as a baby. At the moment i have to wait until i have someone with me to be able to leave the house, one of us to push the wheelchair (my daughter can't self propel) and one of us to push pram/pushchair.

Glad you found a good way of getting around without having to squish one child in a double though CrunchFrog (i remember having done that too) Smile

OOOPS [blush} I misread, though it said buggyboard not buggypod, i'm a wally Blush

LOL, you're OK! The buggy board was a non-starter, DS2 is only 19m, and a wrecker lol. The pod kind of clips on the side.

Glad it went well. I'll be doing the same next summer holiday I think.

Did you buy the rain cover as well?

CrunchyFrog · 27/08/2010 21:53

No, I got the cheapest one possible from ebay, just to try - I'm thinking I may upgrade to a Smorph one, as DS2 couldn't sleep in it at all with no recline. And we definitely need a rain cover I think.
