Posted on here a few months ago that after reading some threds had been inspired to contact local (well a fair drive away) hospice about volunteering. Had meeting, application form and interview and now just need refs to come back and crb check and I can start :) Going to be doing some admin stuff at first to get a feel for the place an dhow it works, then be moved to activites which is where I want to be. Lady said it shouldnt be too long until I am moved as have lots of eperience its just getting used to the hospice environment. Am apprehensive about the emotions but am ecited at the same time. Will let you know how I get on :)
