Help get Changing Places toilets in the building regulations (reply by end of August!)

First new thread so I hope I get it right...

I thought I'd pass this on from "Changing Places". They campaign to install fully accessible loo facilities (hoists, etc) in public buildings.

There's one in the Gateshead Metro Centre now, after a lot of consultation with parents, etc. I wish I could remember who posted about going to the V Festival - but there'll be one there!

"The government is currently considering reforms to English building regulations. We need your help to make sure they include Changing Places in their plans, so fully accessible toilets become a feature in all new public buildings.

Please email Andrew Stunell MP, the minister leading this work, to tell him exactly how important it is to include Changing Places toilets as a standard part of every new public building.

This is urgent as the government has only given us until the end of August to tell them what change is urgently needed to the building regulations.

Thank you for your help!"
