Family fund income level has changed again

As of 16 August the max income level for applying is £28,000 for ALL applicants. Details here.

Remember as well that for for your incom (if you work) you give the amount you get after tax and NI.

This is good news, the previous England one was £24,000!

Yes, the increase is a good thing, although looking at their other criteria I'm not sure if it has changd as well. I don't think it has, just worded differently....

It is the housing benefit that pushes us over. Living in the South East means that rents are high, so HB is pushed up.

Caudwell are fab! they gave us nearly £18k for ds's powerchair and wanted to give us another £1200 for his trike but i had already bought it by then, they also phoned a few weeks ago inviting us to apply again!!

We were turned down by caudwell this year and we earn well under the limit. They are getting really tight.
