asking for change of circumsatnces fo High Rate Mobility ??????

Am i doing the right thing my DS has ASD and sever behaviuoral problems he was awared low rate mobility a few months ago but ppl have been saying he should be geeting high rate . i have looked at the criteria for high rate and he fits this criteria !!
i phoned dla and they said they were sending out a new claim from and i had to fill in the care an the mobility again even though i only want the mobility looking at is this right i thought you only had to fill in a change of circumsatnces form for the area you want changing ??? very confused mummy xxxx

hi hun when the forms arrive the front letter explains that if you only want mobility looking at then to only fill that in and if you only want casr then only fill that one in and if you want both then fill both in. Prob just someone on the helpline who dont have a clue, they sent me an adults one and when i called a man said thats ok fill that one for your son its the same, i looked at it and didnt think it was right so called again and a lady said that i cannot fill adult one in as child one asks for more info.

and to add you are only asking for a change of circs for mobility not care, you are happy with that, so only complete mobility, if you complete care they will look at that also and may change it. i only filled in mobility and thats all they looked at, the care stayed the same
