Maybe he died from a crush injury when he tried to lift your evidence, star Shock Wink

Oh, I was hoping you would get a decision today Sad

You are right though, the tribunal is very careful with writing up their decisions now to avoid the risk of LAs appealing (which they can only do on a point of law). Ours ran to 9 pages, plus an agreed amended statement as the appendix. So maybe that's what is holding them up.

sneezecake · 17/08/2010 18:04

oh bugger bugger bugger!
been watching thread, but been out all day, was hoping you'd have it by now Sad

waitingforgodot · 17/08/2010 18:07

same here. Hope you get some good news soon

Militantendancy · 17/08/2010 22:15

Star, the waiting is awful, pure torture! I was physically shaking when I was opening the email with the SENDIST decision. I thought that I was going to be sick but

We won ....Smile Really hoping that all your hard work and tenacity pays off and you win too!

thederkinsdame · 17/08/2010 22:32

Hi Starlight. I hope your LA are brought to their knees and you get what you need - you deserve it after all your fighting for your DS.

mariagoretti · 17/08/2010 22:57

Sending crossed fingers and toes for tomorrow. I leave the country at 1, someone tell the tribunal they need to let us all know by then!

Of course, if only they could let you write the job spec, interview for, line manage and train that 1-1, plus allocate the best OT and SALT in the county, you wouldn't have what you asked for, but.....

Does your vicar do miracles?

Star, you do know that really we are cunningly bumping your thread?

Can you take the tribunal to the LGO for taking so long to make a decision?

If it doesn't come today we will HUNT THEM DOWN Grin

I am pitying the poor soul who went to work at the DWP this morning, thinking they would read a few forms to pass the day, and then got my DLA renewal I should have sent them some biscuits with it, to keep them going as they read it.

Oh, Starlight - I hope you get your decision soon. It must be horrendous hanging on all this time.

anyhting you can do as distraction today?

sugarcandymonster · 18/08/2010 12:27

Phew, I did think you meant the tribunal at first! Grin

Is it worth phoning them and begging asking nicely?

Lougle · 18/08/2010 12:33

No, Star, chocolate would melt all over my nice words, and money, well, the idea is that they give DD money Smile

This is a cruel, cruel end to the process that no-one tells you about, isn't it? The awful thing is that they probably made their decision (the crude 'win or lose') on the day.
