he sounds wonderful. DD1 told DH the other day and we are the best mummy and daddy in the world, think even he got atear in his eye.

Spinkle · 04/08/2010 19:45

that's lovely. Sometimes it is worth it.

My ds said 'Daddy, Mummy and Libby (dog) are my best friends'

That's a lot of words for him.

bubblagirl · 04/08/2010 19:45

oh bless her it just means so much more coming from a child that you never thought
1 would speak to you
2 be in touch with emotions in the same way he just is the most sweetest little boy

the other day with such gratefulness in his voice
"oh mummy your so kind thank you for letting me help with the house work" keep on like that he'll make some girl happy one day even my "NT" partner doesnt help with house work pmsl

Yes, we got a statement for DS that we're rather happy with, and a school very close to our house (he starts reception in January), and he's talking more and gradually socializing too - focus on the positive is my mantra!
Next week we apparently are even going to get some OT! It must be almost Christmas!

bubblagirl · 05/08/2010 19:29

oh fantastic good to hear things are coming together its great his talking and socialising more i found my ds changed so much once he started school i think he really needed it and luckily first year went without a hitch luckily the school and support are great more so he seemed to really enjoy going makes all the difference xx
