Has anyone seen any pull up - pull down boys trousers for sale? DS can't deal with any buttons drawstrings or fastenings of any sort. His grip is very weak, and he needs to be able to sort himself out without help when he goes to the loo.

I realise that this is quite trivial by comparison with many of the posts, but I also know someone on here will know exactly where to go; I don't really want to have to send him to school in joggers every day!

I found some in primark, but lined so too hot until the winter, and we did get a good pair from mini-boden, although the autumn range all seems to have drawstrings now- not fully elasticated which is what he needs

Next have a good pair of summer pull up trousers. My boy is also 9 and also can't do zips and buttons....

I've got a few pairs for ds from Marks and Spencers. They aren't elastic all the way round but they are those adjustable ones. I find if I buy them slightly big (means taking up legs I'm afraid which I hate) then I can adjust them to be tight enough to stay up but loose enough for him to pull down when he needs the toilet. Seems to be working at the moment. Actually I did also get him a pair of shorts in there recently that are elasticated all the way round so worth a look.

Tesco often do boys trousers with a jogging trouser type waist band. Don't know if they have any currently though but worth a look.

M&S do this flat front trouser that I got for DS2 here - elasticated at the back and flat at the front...

Thanks for all your suggestions;
my report from the high street is that I found school trousers in Asda, probably pull up but they do have front fastenings ; gambled £4 on those, and fairly plain black and navy cotton in next with knitted elasticated waist £10.

But thanks for the link to la redoudte, Peachy. I've never used them before, but there seems to be a little gold mine of pull up trousers there... and it would have saved a nervewracking slog round the shops with the incredible vanishing boy- Grin
