Well the holidays have been hard work.. So much so that the few days away camping we had planned has been put on hold and we are just doing days out.

Anyway.. Today not only did we manage to go to the cinema ( toy story3) with no issues ( it was very empty in there
but we also have managed a much needed make over!

Ds2 is now funky.. We managed to find a new shirt ( he normally wears a limited three t shirts).. New canvas shoes ( red... He chose) and and we have had a bash at funking his hair up .. ( we did have to smell all the products to find the right one.. But I don't care).

We have been planning and talking about this social camo' for a few weeks.. And now my boy doesn't stick out like a sore thumb... And he is very pleased and said he didn't know he was so handsome!

Secondary school here we come!

Cool!

I hope he keeps wearing the shirt. I got DD1 some new tee-shirts which she tried on and wore for the first few days and then went off them grrr!

Lol at smelling the hair products!

Doesn't it lift your spirits when things go right?

I'm braving the hairdressers with ds (ASD - 5) on Sat before we go on holiday...he looks very cool but unfortunately can hardly see out!!!

BigWeeHag · 03/08/2010 08:43

Well done! If I see a cool-looking boy around with red canvas shoes I'll know it's him!

Thank for sharing my happiness

good luck with the hairdressers they are too smelly for ds .. So I just do his at home ( I've got quite nifty with a pair of clippers lol).

Well he wanted to sleep in the shirt ! I'm off to buy another the same tomorrow.. Might try another shop day next month... As we have the school shoe shop visit to tackle this month .. That'll be fun!
