Amazing super-proud mummy moment

Haven't been on much recently so hope you will forgive me for this but am absolutely bursting with pride and have to share it with someone Last night after I put DS (19 months, CP) he pulled himself up to stand in his cot 5 TIMES!!! Then he was standing up looking very pleased with himself when I went in to him this morning!!!! It is a miracle there is no other way to describe it! It is so weird to see him doing it I never thought I would. It is also slightly terrifying as he has no safe way of getting back down... fortunately I had padded the whole cot with foam at the weekend...

Yeah! the weather was a bit rubbish tho!
We were overlooking the beach so quite exposed, the sunday morning we woke up to the holiday lodge moving with the strong wind and the windows lashing with rain!
went to Portpatrick on the tuesday and had a pub lunch, what was the shop thing with all the monkeys outside??
looked like there were steps so didnt venture in with the wheelchair but was quite intrigued!
went to Stranrear a few times and Wigtown, Kirkcudbright etc also went back to the David Coulthard museum in Twynholm so that kept ds happy!
how was yours?

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 29/07/2010 16:11

DD loved looking at the wooden animals at that shop!

The weather was so changeable wasn't it, nice one minute then wet....

We had a fantastic time, went everywhere I think, beaches, Cream O'Galloway, the lighthouse..seems ages ago now!

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 29/07/2010 16:11

Good idea re the books, I'm sure you will be buying him a walking present soon!
