Ok, first DLA for DD1 took 9 months
DD2, waiting but only been a week so not owrried yet

who has quickest?
who has longest?

I sent my extra information form in and when i rang after the 11 weeks they suggested i wait i was told the office had been closed down and they were only just getting round to the batch of claims my form was in. i am still waiting. i think it has been about 14 weeks now. i think the term "decision maker" sounds off-putting, who are these people? the person who answered the phone was very nice though.
